1 Yr baby Swallowed ball sponch
Hi doctor, My frnd's son was bit the sponch ball and Swallowed little amount sponch from ball. My frnd noted later tat and took it away from his throat, after taking the sponch he suffered to breath it seems, after some time he is back to normal. Playing as usual, drunk water and milk. Everything is normal. Does he get any problem in future if he Swallowed any sponch tat v missed to take, do we need to get him to hospital for this. Why he was suffered to breath when we take sponch out, but nw he is playing well and looks normal. Pls advice

Presently since he is playing and is normal he needs only observation & you can feed him banana for smoother exit if any sponge is still left inside . But most important are CHILD SAFETY precautions to avoid such actions . I will be happy to share the chart of child safety precautions by caregivers age wise .
