27m with recurrent cystic modular acne
I’ve had severe cystic nodular acne and have taken a six month course of doxycycline and using topical retinoids, but my skin is still breaking out leaving bloody pimples on my back and chest. I’m 27 years old and had two short (3 month) courses of isotretinoin with no sustemic side effects in my teens, but now seem to be experiencing a recurrence. Do I need to go back on oral isotrerinoin or is there another option.
