5 yr old daughter has diarrhoea
My 5 yr old daughter has diarrhoea since afternoon today for4 to 5 times. I gave her arraroot n now she seems to be normal but I'm afraid if it repeats at night

Arrow root powder is not the correct treatment. Keep giving IRS liquid,curd in diet. Can visit your pediatrician if it recurring.

Hi thanks for writing to Practo consult.
In case if diarrhea its always important to give ORS after each loose motion. Its important to monitor child for dehydration that is decreased activity and restlessness. Stopping motion is not remedy.
