5yrs old child isn't speaking properly
My nephew is 5yrs old.and he isn't learning and speaking constructive word(he isn't deaf and dumb).he speaks only gibberish. We have consulted many doctors but all in vain. I have attached prescription of one doctor. Please suggest is it advisable to give the medicine (risnia) for 10 days as advised by doctor.

Hi. I understand your concern. Risnia is not a solution for lack of speech. Does your nephew also have behavioural issues like anger or temper tantrums?
Next Steps
You should first get a detailed evaluation done by a paediatrician, psychiatrist and a speech therapist to get to the underlying problem.
Health Tips
I do not recommend Risnia unless there are behavioural problems which are not managable by the parents

Hello. The prescription you have attached is by a psychiatrist for mental health disorder. To be able to diagnose your child, there is need to examine him, take family medical history and review his other developmental milestones as well. Than after a proper diagnosis treatment can be started. It must be very concerning for you that child only speaks gibberish but for the doctor evaluating the case, it may be a symptom of some other pathology. So you can get review case with me with all details via practo.
