8 month baby suffering from oose motion
My 8 month old baby boy is suffering from loose motion. Monday I had been to my pediatrician and she suggested levocetrizine and balamadhu for his cough and running nose. Day after that he started having loose motion. Yesterday he had solid stool. And today he had 10 times small quantity liquid solid. Please suggest.

As your baby having running nose, loose stool, cough, probably your baby is suffering from viral infection. As it is self limiting no need of antibiotics. You can give oral rehydration solution (ORS) 80ml per loose stool.assuming your baby is 8 kg to 9 kg. If you mentain hydration, no need of worried. It is usually persist 3 to 7 days. You can add syrup zink 5ml once a day for 14days
