99.1F from oral is a fever
Hi, My mother body temperature is 99.1F from mouth where as when taken from armpit it is showing as 97F. 99.1F from oral is normal or Fever?

Core body temperature measured in oral cavity and rectum will be higher than axillary temperature. Any temp above 100F is only regarded as fever so no need to worry. Its always better to use mercury thermometer for accurate readings.
