I have gone through fine needle test and the reports are saying a tumor called pleomorphic adenoma and they have asked me to go through the surgery , but they are saying that the facial nerve may get damaged and facial palsy would never work...so will u tell the problems off pleomorphic adenoma after the surgery

Very common salivary tumour but its benign..not to worry.. risk of facial nerve injury is there but with experts like head neck surgeons definitely the chances are quite less..there can be paresis in one of the branches which will improve
Next Steps
get it operated as it is going to increase in size with time.. and second advantage being it will be throughly examined by pathologist to rule out any bad tumour..
