Abnormal Hunger symptoms for a diabetic
Hi, my father  diaognised with Type-2 diabetes. it's been three years, and it was under control. But of late he's been experiencing abnormal apetite. He wokesup during night for almost every hour and eats up little heavier This is causing the surge in sugar levels. He's currently on medication to suprezs the apprtite but doesnt seem to help. Any advise would be greatly appreciated. Many thanks.

Depending on the type of medicines that he is on, he could be having low blood sugar levels in the night. You will need to get his sugar checked at the time when he feels hungry at abnormal hours. Medicines can then be adjusted accordingly.
