Is abortion in India illegal? If that's for an adult? And for teenagers? Just wanted to know. And what's the procedure?

Abortion in India is not allowed after 20 weeks. Before that, it can be done for a valid reason.It can be done with medicines only under supervision of a registered gynecologist till 7 weeks, and surgically till 12 weeks.Beyond that, it is only done if 2 gynecologist s approve of the reason and give consent, and procedure is like labour(as in normal delivery)
