I am undergoing to an ear mrm operation. I want to know about anesthesia given by a anesthetic during operation. Is there any risk for patient during operation? As per as my knowledge gas anesthesia is risky for his/her life during operation. Plz clear my confusion as soon as possible.

MRM from anaesthesia point of view is a 2.5 to 3 hour surgery
During surgery inner ear may get stimulated and there can be vertigo nausea vomiting
Otherwise it's a lengthy but safe surgery as far as anaesthesia is concerned
