My son is 6 month old. I have been feeding raagi malt since last month. Since last week his stool is very hard and passes once in two to three days and sometimes he cries out of pain. Can i give peach juice for him (browsed in net)??? What quantity can be given??? Or should i take him to the doctor???

Please do not give juices
As much as possible try to give 2-3 serving fruits daily and one bowl of vegetable soup in the evening
Definitely constipation won’t get resolved in a day as it is food related
Please do it for atleast 2 weeks and you will notice the difference

You have to avoid the fruit juice if you want to give fruit your child give in a Smash form add some cooked vegetable leaves into your babies diet so there will be the higher fibre content in your babies diet and your baby may get relief from constipation
Constipation is quite common in babys less than 1yrs of age
No need to worry for that
Give tummy times frequently in a day time
Feed ur baby as per demand
Burp properly at least 10 min or till baby take 4 burp
Keep a watch on urine output
Baby should pass minimum urine 6-8 times per day
If baby is feeling discomfort and crying exessively then
Need to do rectal stimulation, apply some drops of oil over motion area
It will help
If doesn't work then
Need rectal enema for which u need to visit ur nearest pediatrician once
