Hello mam..
The filling material of composite and glass ionomer cement are used as filling material....the long lasting capacity of filling material depends on the amount of occlusal forces of your child teeth......usually it will be long lasting for 2 years... avoid chewing of any hard substances immediately 3 days after FILLING.... do not disturb that filling area with fingers and tongue.....

hello ma'am
silver amalgam and tooth-colored composite resin. Each variety of filling material carries its own list of benefits and drawbacks, and it is ultimately up to the parent to decide which variety is best for their child with the help of a dentist.
These days light cured gic, glass ionomer cements are used in advanced pediatric dentistry. It has good results strength wise as compared to conventional gic
It’s glass ionomer cement. It should last till the baby teeth falls out.
Not much of precaution is required after filling. Regular brushing twice is day should be fine.
