Dear practo user the emergency contraceptive pills are hormonal pills they cause unexpected bleeding patterns and cycle irregularities which take time to correct.These also cause nausea and should only be taken in emergency situations.

It's like menses.. bleeding will stop within a week...gastric upset is common due to hormonal pill..light food,lot of water will helpful
