Is there any cure for acanthosis nigricans? Will it cause patches on face as well along with neck, arm pits n inner thighs.. how to reduce it and whom to consult?

Yes..there are preventive measures and treatment for acanthosis nigricans. If not treated on time it can spread to the mentioned areas.
To reduce it...if one is obese, have to weight loss, avoid junk foods and excessive sweets..and get endocrinologist opinion to screen for paired blood glucose levels to rule out insulin resistance and further medications for treatment.. Consult dermatologist for cosmetic purpose
