Accidentally eat biscuit chewed by a rat
Hi sir/madam,
I accidentally eat a packet of biscuits and finally found out that it had a hole on the other side of the packet.
I didn't eat the last one, that was carved from one side..
Do I need to worry.?
I was in empty stomach along with tea.
Is has been 12 hours since it happened.
I don't have any noticeable symptoms.

hello...contact with secretions or excreta of rodents like rats can transmit some zoonotic diseases.If the rat is infected with any bacteria then it can transmit such diseases.In your case it's very difficult to say that how significant contact was and whether rat was infected or not. First advise is not to panic.To be on safer side any kind of minor symptoms appear, please contact nearby Physician or hospital.
