Hi. Life is not bad after acl surgery. You have to take precautions for 1 month or so. After that you can start with your routine daily chores and office work. Car driving after 2-3 months. Bike driving without gear after 3 months. Running, jogging and completely normal after 6-7 months. Hope this helps. Take care

No side effects. Post surgical rehabilitation depends on surgeon to surgeon. He can get back to biking around 3-6 months post surgery depending on surgeon and surgical techniques. Ideally knee bending next day post surgery. Toe touch 2-3 days post surgery depending on pain tolerance. Partial Weight bearing a week after surgery.
Next Steps
Share MRI films... Discuss rehabilitation protocol with your surgeon.
Health Tips
Performing knee exercises will help post surgery.. Focus on static quadriceps exercises.
