Complete ACL tears i.e. Grade 3 tears can lead to arthritis in the long run after 10-20 yrs.
U have to avoid any further twisting injury to the knee or you may damage your other structures in the knee as well. Avoid ground level activities, stair climbing and vigorous knee strenuous activities. Continue Knee physio as much as possible to strengthen your knee muscles.
Ideally best way to manage Complete ACL tears is Arthroscopic ACL reconstruction in a physically active individual.
