Hi,
Success rate depends on so many factors like
Grade of injury - Grade 1 and grade 2 recovers fast and success rate is high.
Age of patient- In young and middle aged ,recovery is good enough.
Type of job- sedentary or active
And proper treatment and precautions taken by the patient.
If everything works well then it might take upto 4-6 months .
Thanx

ACL ligament as such doesn't heal on its own, but because it is grade 2, she can be a coper, she can get back to near normalcy with proper rehabilitation. But Physiotherapy cannot heal the ligament.
Grade 2 tear doesn't require surgery unless patient requires high level of sports activities.
Grade 3 has a poor outcome if treated conservatively. But with good physiotherapy treatment she can improve a lot and may not need surgery. I have seen many cricket players with grade 3 tear are doing well without surgery.
Next Steps
find a good manual physiotherapist and try with conservative management. she should be fine.. good luck
In Maximum cases with Physiotherapy these kind of case get recovered well. By following Proper Physiotherapy protocols patient gains strength, endurance & balance in a good way.
Very rare case require attention for surgery followed by Physiotherapy (all depends on level of recovery phase & additional side traumas).
Muscle stimulator, Muscle strengthening exercises, stretchings, endurance training & balance propriocetive training required followed by functional training like cycling/Treadmil/Hydrotherapy-Swimming.
Use ice pack if mild swelling seen.
Take care.
First of all recoverumy of ACL injury depends upon many factors...
1 . Grade of ligament tear
2 .Age of patient
3. Wat time of job he does..sedentary or field job
4 .wether the surgery is successful
5 .Wether proper physiotherapy has been taken precautions n post surgery
6 .Has the pt followed proper precautions post surgery...
Then within 3-4 months the patient regains back to normal routine.
Conservative or Physiotherapy Management depends on the Grade of the ACL injury; partial ACL injury is high success in physiotherapy Management; But complete tear , Arthroscopic surgery required.
It depends on the degree of tear. A ligament once torn cannot be healed unless surgically repaired. But Physiotherapy can help reduce pain and live an active lifestyle.
