Normally two tendons semitendinosus and gracilis are used for hamstring graft. Recent studies showed that gracilis has higher regeneration in post aclr patients. However the isokinetic strength is not related to the cross sectional area of muscle which means rehabilitation has similar results in patients who had regeneration and who hadn't regeneration.
