Acne, acne scar and pigmentation
I have acne, acne scar from old pimples and recently pigmentation has appeared on ma face and around the eyes. I went through one session of chemical peel and aside I am using melaglow cream for pigmentation. Should I continue my current regimen or suggest me something that would be effective enough. On contrary, I am planning to continue the chemical peeling. Do suggest. Thank you

Treatment for Acne/Pimples:-Aclind Gel / Faceclin Gel / DâACNE Plus gel for application twice daily over affected area.
For Marks (spots) - DUCRAY Photoscreen Depigment Cream / Demelan cream for application once in a week at night (very little over marks only)
For face wash Rejuglow Facewash/ Episoft OC Cleanser/ Saslic DS Wash.
Tab. Limcee 500mg once daily for one month.
Tab. Ascazin twice daily for one month.
Combination peels can be performed by a dermatologist in order to improve pimples , marks and scars .
Blood test for serum Insulin Fasting (F) & Postprandial (PP)
for scars:-Fractional Laser treatment is needed,one session in 1 month upto 6-8 sessions,treatment can be done by a dermatologist. Other options are Chemical Peels / Microderma Brasion / Derma Roller.
for pigmentation:-Increase intake of water & citrus fruits . Sun protection is important . Photostable Gel SPF40 / BIODERMA Photoderm AKN Mat SPF30 / La Roche Posay Anthelios XL SPF 50 Dry Touch as sunscreen to be applied half an hour before sun exposure. Apply Biluma Cream/ Melaglow Rich cream for application once at night for 2 months.

There are different ways to achieve a flawless skin after acne and it needs medical interventions and commitment on part of the patient. Acne treatment has multiple stages - to control new breakouts, to clear the sequelae (pigmentation and scars) and to prevent a relapse. An attempt to find out the root cause of acne should be made in every patient or else it keeps recurring. Each phase takes a couple of weeks before we move to the next phase of treatment. If you have active acne lesions, it should be controlled on priority basis. Acne scar and pores can be treated with subcisions, dermaroller, fractional CO2 lasers, chemical peels and likewise. Remember combining treatment modalities help to achieve desired results earlier. Your dermatologist will decide a treatment plan for you after a consultation.
