Acth low but normal cortisol
Hi. I hv a pituitary microadenoma (5.4×3.8mm).I hv checked my blood test and it shows ACTH level 1.0 and cortisol level 242.so my question is that acth very low but no one take me serious because cortisol normal.then why need we hv to test acth ?? We can test cortisol only.just like okay cortisol normal..fine we dont hv to do acth ..m really confused

Cortisol is hormone by ACTH. Could be that’s why not taken serious, coz it’s normal. U can chat online in detail about it with me.
