Hi, I started using Xylomist after diagnosing with Sinusitis. However, I haven't been able to stop the usage - it's been over one year. Please let me know how to stop that. I can't breathe from nose if I don't use Xylomist. Also, please tell me the alternatives which are not steroid based since I can't use steroids.

Switching over to normal Saline drops and steam inhalation twice a day if symptoms are tolerable is best.. If not then stop xylomist and take steroid spray in tapering dose..

It needs slow withdrawl of xylomist . Once you take antiallergic tabs . , if your turbinatesare hypertrophied then reduction of these should be done . Proper checkup and treatment should be done
u can use plain Sodium chloride nasal drops
like Nasoclear nasal drops or anti allergic spray like AZELASTINE nasal spray
before that take ENT online consultation to ruleout what exactly is the pblm causing u this breathing pblm
if necessary Diagnostic Nasal Endoscopy shud also be done.
