Addiction of  benzodiapines
I am addicted to benzodiapines especially bromazepam(lexotanil) in high doses. I have anxiety and depression due to which I use them. Please prescribe me any medicine to cease lexotanil and  to relief my anxiety and depression. Only reason for which I do not go to antifepressants is that they cause hair loss. I have already very low quantity of hair on my head and I can not take risk to try an antidepressant and lose my remainig hair . It will be another great shock for me. Please precribe me any medicine which is not addictive and do not cause hair loss or hair thinning. Thanks in advance

Hello, It is a myth that antidepressants cause hair loss is all i would say. There are a few mood stabilisers which do cause hair loss but many other medicines are available which cause absolutely no problems with hair. It is recommended that you consult a psychiatrist for proper evaluation and diagnosis before any medicine is prescribed. All medicines have different action and profile of side effects, so the medicine needs to be personalised as per your complaints.
Next Steps
Consult a psychiatrist (online/offline)
Health Tips
Benzodiazepine will not cure anxiety or depression, its addiction can be another problem altogether. Consult an expert soon.

Hi Sir Thanks for seeking help here. After careful evaluation I suggest , we should try with a long acting benzodiazepine for get rid of shorting acting behaviour and same time focus on the drug withdrawal. Let's have a clear discussion about this ...and we can help you out... Happy to help you.
