AEC high from 3 months
I have checked my AEC for the first time 3 months ago and it was 3900 In March it was 4500 In April it was 2500 What is the correct reason for it? I don't have asthama or respiratory problems Or any allergies?. Is there any test which will give the apt reason for this varying AEC count?

Your report is suggestive of moderate eosinophilia. The increase in eosinophil count is usually following causes: - an infection by parasitic worms - an autoimmune disease - severe allergic reactions - eczema - asthma - seasonal allergies - leukemia and certain other cancers - ulcerative colitis - scarlet fever - lupus - Crohn’s disease - a significant drug reaction - an organ transplant rejection I would advise you to meet a physician so that you can be evaluated and have further investigations to find the underlying cause for the fluctuation.
