After scabies treatment what to expect
It's been 40 days, I've been diagnosed with scabies,we treated everything and even treating daily,from our bedsheets to clothes soaked in warm water, removed matress and pillows,just using a single bedsheet that too soaked in warm water ,taking medications, permethrin 5%lotion once a week, ivermectin tablet12mg once in 10days, my parents are also doing the same, we are also applying fresh aloe vera, neem juice on our body. STILL I have some small pink bumps here n there with no fluid top of it ,but they itch sometime . Even my parents are complaining of increased itch and same kind of red small itchy bump. kindly help me out is it normal after mediation ..OR we are doing something wrong during this treatment.. PLEASE DOCTORS..thank you 🙏

Hello dear. 40 days should be sufficient to eliminate the infection. Your treatment is on point and precautions you're taking are also ok. It could be a relapse. Something is missing. Either the diagnosis needs revision or your treatment protocol. Don't apply neem oil/ aloevera/ home remedies. These can aggravate the pruritus.
