When my dad checked his blood sugar and urine ,it shows suagar as normal and albumin ++++in urine test. He has been suffering with diabetic for last twenty years, when we checked it before one year it was ++ in urine but it has gone up now. is it a serious issue ?

Check his renal function tests, it could be due to diabetic nephropathy. May have to consult with a nephrologist at the earliest. Do urine spot protein creatinine ratio, might be helpful to diagnose the condition. If he has hypertension also, then the chances of developing it is high.
