Allergy- stuffed nose
I was diagnosed having allergy rhinitis( sneezing, itching eyes, stuffy nose-no sleep at night). Also blood test( back in 2 years) said esnophil count is more. No measure taken as I was pregnant. Now Doctor asked me to finish metaspray fully and budamate 200 tramscap for 2 weeks. Doubt- whenever I feel stuffy nose should I use both spray and inhaler(lifelong)? How often to use? Is there any side effects on long term? Any other treatment for this dust allergy.. Thanks in advance..

Hi. I understand your concern s. Allergy is generally life long symptoms if not treated properly. Needs a regular follow up. Better to consult a qualified allergist who identify triggers and discuss options of immunotherapy which might be helpful in your case for better releif and prevent progression of allergy.

The nasal spray is for allergic rhinitis and the budamate is for asthma if you have it. You will have to take the nasal spray till your symptoms are severe and then once the symptoms are controlled, it can be tapered off with careful monitoring/ or continued on the lowest dose without symtoms. Be away from dust as much as you can.
