Allergy to Smells
Just curious. Can you have an allergic reaction to a food just by smelling it? I was told by a friend that shouldn't be in the same room while an orange or a grapefruit was being eaten or if someone was using a orange scented cleaner because of her severe allergy.

Yes it can be the case as the allergen can make their way via air to the respiratory system.
