Amoebiasis is detected from culture test
15 days back I consulted doctor for continuous loose motion with little blood.Doctor asked us to take culture test and report declared EH cyst as positive and also E.coli infection in culture.
Doctor suggested us secnidazole tablet along with few antibiotics.Still the loose motion is there and below are my few questions
1. Does the tablet secnidazole pushes out the bacteria through stools?
2. Does this stools stop automatically or further any tablet required to arrest it.
Patient is active and taking bland diets as suggested by doctor.I want to know how long with this loose motion continue and is there any tablet to stop loose stools ?
Please suggest !!

Single Antibiotic is usually not enough. Combination of Antibiotics are effective.
Is there any fever pain abdomen. Colour of stools etc. Share the culture report and other reports.
Maintain hydration. Plenty of fluids.
It take time for medicines to act.
But more MEDICINES are usually needed.
