Anal fissure healed but itching
I had itching and pain in anus, so the doctor said it is fissure. I took a month homeopathic medicines and did sitz bath and ate blan food. It healed. But constipation still came n went. So I went to a physician. They suggested some medicines which m taking.. five dosages are left. Now, all was okay.. but sometimes I get a bad itch in anus. It sometimes happen after bowel movement.. sometimes anytime and gets better on its own or after I put some ointment. I m eating healthy.. spices m taking but in moderation. I have no pain or bleeding in the anal region. Just in my right lower back. I m very stressed as to why m having this itch. Is my fissure coming back? Please help.. I m not able to find any satisfactory help. N going to doc in current situation is not an option.

Dear Madam, I guess you are still having constipation. See, the issue is constipation, as long as it is recurrent, fissures can occur again I would suggest you to get a thyroid profile done as it is commonest cause of constipation

Thyroid profile Rx: High fiber diet: cabbage, bhindi, cucumber, tomato etc Daily walking ( u can walk in one place or can walk up and down steps in your society) Isapgol husk 2 teaspoons at bedtime daily with 2 glasses of lukewarm water x 4 weeks I am sure this lifestyle modification and diet will help. If required for anal irritation you can apply lignocaine jelly locally as and when needed. This is a local Anaesthesia and stops the irritation
