She has a problem regarding checking switch 4 to 5 times before switching light at night; gets frustrated at very minute conversation she's preparing for various competitive exams from past 4 years with no success kindly advise???

As per your description of symptom.you have described repetitive checking behaviour .there might be other behavioural changes like you described irritability at times .also being under stress and challenging circumstances in life/life events which could worsen these behavioural symptoms.kindly consult a psychiatrist .such patient would greatly benefit from therapy and treatment
