AS is not a curable disease. It can only be treated symptomatically and to decrease the progression and to keep the person independent. Physiotherapy is very helpful in this condition to decrease the pain, increase the flexibility, increase/maintain joint range. Treatment is life long and no need to go anywhere.
Next Steps
Go to a physiotherapist.. Ultrasonic therapy +IFT /TENS +Heating therapy +some stretching exercises will be helpful for sure.
Health Tips
At home.. Frequent full range joint movements +frequent change of posture +hot water fomentation +pain killer gel +no long single posture assumption.
