Anti biotic necessary or not
My 2 year daughter suffered fever went nearest child hospital they always give p125 with anti biotic my question s is p125 s enough for 102 degree fever or anti biotic required..they said without anti biotic the medicine won't work but one of my friend said don't give anti biotic..need advice tia.

Antibiotics are necessary only if the infection is considered as caused by bacteria. For Viral infection just P125 is enough. Degree of fever doesn’t matter. In viral fevers they can have high degree of fever. But doctor has to make a diagnosis if it’s viral or bacterial.
Next Steps
majority of fevers caused in children are viral. Antibiotics needs to be used judiciously, as each & every drug has side effects. If ur doctor always give antibiotics take a second opinion.
