Anxiety medication
Doctor has prescribed me Stalopam 5 mg and Clonotril 0.50 mg. i hv stopped medication after 1.5 month.
Almost after 1.5 months after stopping medication anxiety relapsed...again i had taken same medication. after 2 months with tapering the dosage, i had stopped medication.
Now again anxiety relapsing . I would like to know how long i should take this medication to deal with Anxiety ??

Hi
The anxiety medication needs to be taken for minimum one year or more. Antidepressant anti anxiety drug need to be taken regularly while clonotril can be taken as on when required basis.
So consult your treating psychiatrist for further management.
