Anxiety related dry heaving/retching
I dry heave when anxious or stressed. It occasionally leads to vomiting. Can it be treated with medicine from a general physician or it needs proper diagnosis from a psychiatrist/psychologist?

Usually anxiety leads to diarrhea and increased urination rather than vomiting.
Next Steps
Better to consult a physician first. If he thinks you need a psychiatrist he will refer.
