Are pouch of douglas & pregnancy related

Asked for Female, 30 Years

I am 30 year old female. I had missed my periods this month. I have had a miscarriage last year. I went for scan and the sonologist was mentioning about pouch of Douglas. Are pouch of Douglas and pregnancy both related? Am I pregnant? Will it be a normal pregnancy.
