Based on the information you provided, it seems that your mother has been experiencing asthma symptoms and sleeping issues. It's not uncommon for individuals with chronic health conditions like asthma to also experience psychological symptoms such as anxiety or stress, which can contribute to sleep problems. In such cases, a healthcare professional may consider involving a psychiatrist to address both the physical and psychological aspects of your mother's health. Zapiz (clonazepam) and Zispram (escitalopram) are medications commonly used to treat anxiety and sleep-related issues. Clonazepam is a benzodiazepine medication that can help with anxiety and may have sedative effects. Escitalopram is an antidepressant that is also sometimes used for anxiety disorders. Remember, it's important to consult with a treating psychiatrist who has access to your mother's complete medical history and can provide personalized advice based on her specific circumstances. He will be able to evaluate her symptoms, medications, and overall health to determine the best course of action.
