Atopic dermatitis
My son has itching in his arm folds and ear and under eye redness since 3 months ,dermatologist said it's atopic dermatitis and prescribed Atarax which I have already given him two three times in these 3 months ,Elovera body wash and Aveeno skin releif moisturiser,Now he has asked us to avoid taking him to sunlight ,how he will get his daily dose of vit D we asked and he tells us to consult pediatrics.Please tell me what to do we are really in trouble since July .

Atopic dermatitis requires long term treatment....so keep patience... Avoid soap, apply skin moisturizer twice a day... More detailed history requires....

Atopic dermatitis requires regular long term management with mositurizer.So apply moisturizer (dermadew/cetaphil) generously
