Hi, I am 26 y old male from pune, having ADHD Disorder and I want to diagnose immediately .
1. If I diagnose through medicines, will it have any side effects? I heard that without proper dosage, you might have adverse effects on your health is it real?
2. Are there any specialist doctors only for ADHD?
are they neurologist or psychologists? Which psychologist I need to approach for ADHD?
Based on your suggestion I will approach to the doctor.
Thank you

Dear Practo User,
I am glad that you asked this question. You must visit a clinical psychologist who will see if you meet clinical criteria’s of ADHD. If you match the criteria, then she will guide you to a psychiatrist for a medication. Or you can directly approach a psychiatrist who can also check if you meet criterias for ADHD.
Next Steps
Look for clinical psychologist or a psychiatrist who specialises in ADHD.
