B12 Deficiency.
Hello, 6 months back I diagnosed with blood B12 level 116. I consulted doctor and he gave 5 Mecobalamine injection course for 1 month. I completed that course. After 2 month I seen symptoms of B12 deficiency again (Day time Sleepiness, not able to focus on job, lack of energy, vulnerability towards illness). Now I checked B12 again its only 153. I am daily consuming 1500 mcg Mecobalamine tablet. Still why my B12 level is not increasing?

Hello there. I can understand your concern. 153 is too low, and it will take time to increase. Everyday these vitamins are being used up, don't think that taking a few injections will cure it for life. You need to increase your dietary intake also. You can start a tab. Renerve-plus once a day after food for a month and tab. Neurobion forte once a day after food for 3 months. Best regards. Dr. Anil Kumar Jain. Bangalore.
