Baby feeding
Hello Doctor... My baby has completed 4 months and is on exclusive breastfeeding...frm past few days he looks very hungry. I feed him but he still wants more and will put his hand in the mouth. No crying or anythg. Is my supply low?? Bcz when I express I do have slight milk? Not sure what is the issue?

Hi, Putting fingers is not a sign of hunger. If baby is active and gaining weight adequately, nothing to worry.

Progressive weight gain with breast milk according to age charts indicates sufficiency Can start at the end of 6 months Weight monitoring could only tell you if it's sufficient or not
