Baby hungary after breatfeeding
I ans my 6 weeks old baby are trying hard to transition from bottle fed formula to breastfeeding. But, sometimes even after 45mins-1 hr of latching, she is still hungry. sometimes i have to finally give up due to her hunger and give her the formula. Please suggest what can be the reason behind the same and what can i do in such situations.

The two most important factors for good lactation are a good healthy balanced diet by YOU and regular suckling by your baby and of course,a relaxed mental status. Give breastfeeds at a gap of atleast 2-1/2 to 3 hours, don't wake her up for a feed, feed ONLY for 5 mins each side. Follow this IMMEDIATELY by top formula feed using a spoon and katori. If your lactation is sufficient, baby won't take top feeds. Some meds also help in lactation, but try the above first.
