Baby of 9months of age -Fever

Asked for Female, 31 Years

Baby had fever from yesterday, Today she started refusing food.Paracetamol s.yrup giving every six hours.Today she had cold feet and hands and body stretching very badly...i thought body ache.Please give suggestion Iam worried.

Hi, baby refuse feeding during acute viral illness is commonly seen but continue efforts to give BF and other food to maintain hydration... For fever give paracetamol, maximun you can give it 6 hourly.... Cold hand and feet may be sometimes seen in infant but monitor temperature of baby, and if its above 99.4F then only give paracetamol....
