Baby weight
My baby's born weight is 3.8kg. He is now 4 months 13 days old, current weight is 6.5kg.. When we visited doctor on August 27th, his weight was 7.1kg.. There's a drop of close to 500-600gms.. can you please let me know if it's fine ?? Kindly note: weighing scale used today is digital one which is for adults and doctor had infant machine.

Anyway as per birth weight your baby's weight should be double of birth weight at 5ninths which comes around 7.6 at month.so not achieving this weight at 5month is not suggesting underweight. As per Indian standard your child even if it is 7kg it's like half battle won. As many of our kids even don't attain 7kg at 1 year. So don't worry. Machine machine variations does happen. Keep checking with single machine for correlation. Take care

Though your babies weight is still within range..probable wt of clothes, diaper and a different and more sensitive weighing scale made the difference. Suggest you weigh the baby again with the baby scales previously used.. and tell us again. If the baby has been well in the intervening period with no change in diet, you have nothing to worry about.. otherwise a Pediatric consultation should be done.
Next Steps
Check weight again with older scales
