Babys Concern
Hello Doctor, My Baby is just 12days old. My worry is Baby is sleeping 20/22 hours daily. just wanted to check with you whether this Is normal or anything worry about.
And in last 3/4 days there is some red patches has developed on baby's forehead, chick and on butt..
this is really worrying me a lot.. please suggest..

Newborn baby sleeps for the whole day and wakes only for a feeding.
I would say that this is indirectly indicates that baby is having adequate feeding and it's a good sign.
Red patches are also normal as skin of the baby is premature.
Next Steps
avoid applying besan, turmeric, milk to the baby skin. massage gently.
