Back pain disc protrution
I have disc protrution l5s1..wats the way to cure this ..and can i do indoor cycling to reduce weight as i ganied weight ..

Disc protruding can get bad if you don't take care. Consult a doctor personally. You may need to undergo physiotherapy.

Apply Hot Fomentation twice daily. Avoid bending in front. Postural Correction- Sit Tall, Walk Tall. Extension Exercises x 15 times x twice daily - lying on tummy, take left arm up for 3 seconds, then bring it down, right arm up for 3 seconds, bring down. Bring right leg up, hold for 3 seconds, bring it down. Then right leg up and hold for 3 seconds and bring it down. Repeat twice a day- 10 times. Bhujang Asana -- Lie flat on your stomach, keeping the palms out, bend the neck backward, take a deep breath and while holding it for 6 seconds, raise the chest up. Release breath and relax your body. Repeat the exercise 15 times twice daily. Core Strengthening Exercises- Straight Leg Raised With Toes Turned Outward, repeat 10 times, twice a day.

I think u already got ur diagnosis means u have ur Mri done.  send ur photo of Mri. that would better to quantify and for management

HI.. Disc protrution can easily be managed..however protruded disk can't be repushed... I suggest you to kindly get in touch with a physio well versed with McKenzie and Maitland manipulation..to help you better. Don't bend forward too much... Don't lift weights.. Keep icing in your back frequently to get of spasm associated with your disc issue... Try strengthening your core muscles..to support your spine mechanically... Hope this is helpful for you Revert back in case you need further clarification....
