The painkillers that you can take are Paracetamol 1gram 4 times a day and Diclofenac 50mg 3 times a day after food. Use a hot water bottle on your back to help with pain. DO NOT take bed rest. Stay mobile and active. Use a firm bed to sleep. Maintain a good posture, avoid sitting for too long. Usr this for 3-4 weeks and if you find pain is no better, then you will have to see an Orthopaedic Surgeon or a Spinal Surgeon. Also you have to reduce your weight. For your height, your weight is quite high. Weight loss will help in reducing your backpain a lot. Hope this helps. Dr Vinu Raj Consultant Spine Surgeon MBBS MRCS FRCS(Trauma&Orth)
