Hi, my wife had back pain in the past and was diagnosed with Spondylitis l4 and l5a couple of years ago, there has not been any pain for more than a year now and she is not taking any medication for the same however, during this lockdown she has been experiencing this pain again however not as severe bt there is a lot of discomfort while bending down or getting up etc. Are there any exercises that u can suggest to keep this pain at bay.

Hello.. Most likely the aggravation of the back pain must be due to extra household work during lockdown period.. for the time being best is for her to abstain from strenous work and lifting weights.. no need for exercises now as the pain is acute.. Once pain gets better in 3-4 days, better to consult a neurosurgeon nearby and get her evaluated, after which exercises can be started..
