Backbone disc protrusion
2.5 years ago I had been diagnosed with posterocentral disc protrusion and extrusion at L5-s1. Thecal sac. Bilateral neural foramina. With back exercises and physiotherapy I was fine. Around 3 months back while playing cricket I felt pain and bent a bit to left. Took rest and medication for 2 weeks. Was again fine. Since yesterday, I am again feeling pain and feel again bent to left. But says "spine ki gaddi bahar hai". But I want to exercise and get rid of this. What should I do?

Dear Sir, You are having recurrent disc prolapse, which can lead you to surgery, the first principal is to take rest and let the disc reduce, once you are off pain, then start your exercises under guidance of a therapist, and finally make a habit of not lifting objects with flexed (bent) back. Hope that helps. Have a nice day
