Bariatric surgery and Thyroid
I'm a 18 years old male and my weight is 130kgs I have plans for bariatric surgery I wanted to do it a year ago but for some reason I didn't but I am thinking of pursuing the surgery in a month I have had thyroid from 3-4 years I was on medication at the starting but I stopped taking it 2 years ago I remembered my surgeon said we have to control the thyroid before surgery I also have a history of deficiency of vitamin d so I have been taking vitamin d supplement 1000IU from past 20 days as I don't spend a lot of time outside I am also trying to eat as healthy as possible and taking other supplements like omega 3 pills and protein powder I use to smoke tobacco and weed on a regular basis 1-2 roll a day from past one year I left it 3 weeks ago now I got a fresh thyroid report and I don't know what medicine will be best for me in this situation
